It forms a permanent bond when mixed at a 1:1 ratio, allowing for shaping, tapping, filing, sanding, and drilling after curing. Setting in 4-6 hours at room temperature, J-B Weld dries to a dark grey color with a full cure reached in 15-24 hours. With a tensile strength of 3960 PSI, it sets to a hard bond overnight and can withstand temperatures up to 550ºF when fully cured. The J-B Weld kwikweld pro size offers 5 OZ Tubes, ideal for professional use. KwikWeld, a fast setting version of the original Cold Weld system, provides strong, lasting repairs to various surfaces.

After mixing the tubes at a 1:1 ratio, KwikWeld sets in 6 minutes and cures in 4-6 hours. Once cured, it can be tapped, filled, sanded, molded, and drilled. The set and cure color of KwikWeld is dark grey, maintaining versatility and dependability. With steel reinforcement and a tensile strength of 3127 PSI, KwikWeld can withstand temperatures up to 230 degrees Fahrenheit (110 degrees Celsius) and is waterproof when fully cured.
